You To Be
Foolish film making
12.30 to 4.30pm
An experimental ‘Fool in Camera’ workshop led by Simon Blakeman (TheatreSpace). This workshop will play with how cameras can be creatively included in a fool’s performance – group and solo – with a view to making an edited short film.
We will look at:
The ensemble’s eye view – sharing the perspective
The value of the out take
Being present in the future
The power cut (the difference between montage and editing)
Directing attention – manual Focus
This workshop is for people who have direct/indirect experience of The Nomadic Academy for Fools and complete newcomers alike. It is for anyone interested in bringing together the spontaneity of the Fool, and the living presence of the camera (audience to be). Please wear comfortable, preferably plain, clothing which you can move about in.
